What is precision stamping and general stamping?

The stamping process is the production technology of the product parts with certain shape, size and performance by means of the power of the conventional or special stamping equipment to deform the sheet metal directly in the die and deform it. Sheet metal, die and equipment are the three elements in stamping process. Stamping is a method of cold metal deformation processing. Therefore, it is called cold stamping or sheet metal stamping, referred to as stamping. It is one of the main methods of metal plastic processing (or pressure processing), and also belongs to material forming engineering technology. Precision stamping can generally be called a molding, as far as possible to reduce the stamping process. General stamping is finished after stamping, still need post-processing
